One of the big challenges for students and staff at the Yorkshire Coast's schools and colleges over the coming weeks will be the issue of lost learning and catchup.
Government funding has been made available to help with catchup learning and different schools will be tailoring their approach to meet their pupils needs.
Ann Hardy is Principal at Scarborough TEC and says it's right that individual schools take an approach based on their circumstances.
Ann says that Schools and Colleges on the Yorkshire Coast are going to need to take flexible approaches to learning and assessing how their students are performing and that Scarborough TEC will be following different approaches to catch up learning for different courses.
