The town's sea cadets will be put on the water for Saturday's National Armed Forces Day event.
There are over 100 members of the Sea Cadets in Scarborough the meet each Thursday and take part in activities including sailing, windsurfing and powerboating, to rock climbing, camping, and music.
This weekend the Cadets will be talking more about what they do at their armed forces day stand on Scarborough's Foreshore.
The Cadets will also be taking part in the parades.
Cadets Nathan and Harry say they are looking forward to the day.
Cadet Harry says the day is also a good opportunity to raise awareness of the Sea Cadet unit.
The Cadets were involved in the launch of the Armed Forces Day Week in Scarborough on Monday, when they carried the Armed Forces Day Flag from the harbour to the town hall.
