Scarborough Athletic begin the defence of their North Riding Senior Cup title tonight with a home tie against Middlesbrough.
Boro won the competition last season, tonight they face a tough opener in this year's tournament as they face Middlesbrough's under 23 squad at the Flamingo Land Stadium.
Boro Chairman Trevor Bull says he is looking forward to the match.
Jonathan Greening is expected to field a strong team for the cup fixture against his former side.
The North Riding Senior Cup Second Round fixture, which was switched to Scarborough, should see Championship side Middlesbrough include some of their hottest prospects and some fringe first team players in their squad.
The teams last met in the North Riding Senior Cup Final in 2017-18 at the Riverside, which Boro lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough, after Boro were made to play the majority of the game with ten men, after Sam Hewitt was sent off.
Scarborough Chairman Trevor Bull says it's going to be a tough match.
Should the score be level at 90 minutes, the game will go straight to penalties.
