Scarborough Just Two Points from Top of Table

Scarborough Athletic start the day third in the league and just two points off the top of the table.

A win today could put them top if Kings Lynn and Brackley drop points.

Boro face 5th placed Chester at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

Boro will be hoping to have Will Thornton, Michael Coulson, Ciaran McGuckin and Dan Bramall all available after picking up injuries and knocks over the past fortnight. Jake Charles has returned to light training and is expected to be back in the side in January subject to his rehabilitation. Third placed Boro will be hoping to extend our position in the play-off positions over sixth place Chester.

Manager Jono Greening told Scarborough Athletic TV he's hoping for strong home support.

Chester, who like Boro have endured some hard times over the past fifteen years, reforming in 2010. Chester are on an unbeaten run in the league, which stretches back to 8th October, when Darlington defeated "The Blues", which has propelled Chester up the table to sixth position.

Kick off at the Flamingo land Stadium is at 3pm, tickets are available at https://scarboroughathleticfc.ktckts.com/event/sca2223h10/chester-fc if you really can't get to the game there will be commentary on This is the Coast Extra.
