A new assessment unit has seen fewer youngsters waiting in the emergency department.
Waiting times for Children to be seen at Scarborough Hospital have fallen this year after a range of new measures were bought in.
The changes were implemented following recommendations from a Care Quality Commission inspection of the hospital.
Chief Nurse Heather McNair says the changes have made a real difference:
A new children's assessment unit at the hospital has reduced the number of children who end up in the Emergency department.
Changes to the Children's services have been introduced over the last few months.
