An industrial unit and multiple sheds have been damaged in a fire in Scarborough this afternoon.
North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service say that crews from Scarborough and Malton responded to multiple calls about the fire on Queen Margaret's Road at just before 1:30pm.
Two sheds were completely destroyed by the fire. The remaining shed and the industrial unit sustained fire damage and smoke logging.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus, a thermal imaging camera, and small tools to extinguish the blaze and dampen down hot spots.
According to the service, crews also removed ceiling tiles in the industrial unit after naturally ventilating it to ensure the fire had not spread into the roof void.
