While vaccination rates in North Yorkshire are generally better than the national average, certain areas, especially in Scarborough, are lagging behind.
To tackle this challenge, a multi-agency group led by North Yorkshire Public Health has been established, collaborating with partners from the NHS, local council, and volunteer organizations.

- Improving invitation letters: The group worked with their behavioural science team to make the invitation letters for vaccination appointments more effective.
- Organizing bespoke clinics: Specialised clinics have been organised to improve access to vaccinations and cancer screenings. For example, YorSexualHealth ran several cervical screening clinics.
