The final phase of works to enhance the facilities at Scarborough Cricket Club are progressing despite some financial pressures.
£250,000 of Towns deal funding was allocated to the scheme with an aim of securing first class cricket in the town.
The first two phases of works at North Marine Road have been completed.
North Yorkshire Council's local regeneration officer - Alex Richards - says the third phase is going ahead:
This despite the costs now being more than the remaining budget for the scheme.
