Leaders in North Yorkshire are reminding us that the ban on meeting others indoors is still in place.
Last weekend there were 11 COVID fines issued for breaches of the indoor gathering rules in North Yorkshire, 10 of those 11 were issued in the Scarborough Borough.
The area has had an ongoing issue with breaches of the indoor gathering rules through this year.
Ahead of this weekend, Superintendent Mike Walker from North Yorkshire Police is reminding people that although some lockdown rules have eased, we still cant meet other people indoors.
The county's Director of Public Health, Louise Wallace, is also reminding everyone that meeting indoors is still not allowed and that meeting outdoors still requires social distancing.
