A Scarborough bird of prey rescue centre is facing closure due to a lack of funds.
Animal House Birds of Prey is a rescue and rehabilitation centre in Scarborough with the current pandemic they have not been able to fundraise .
The centre say if they can't raise enough to cover vets and food bills then they will have to close.
A fundraising page has been launched
Trevor from the charity says they just need enough cash to get through to the end of lockdown when they can hopefully start fundraising again.
The team at Animal House Birds of Prey specialises in the rescue and rehabilitation of birds of prey. They receive no government funding or lottery grants and rely solely on donations.
They not only rescue wild birds that have been injured or harmed but also unwanted and neglected captive bred birds of prey, providing them with a home for the rest of their natural lives.
The team have now launched a Go Fund Me page to raise the funds they need to get through the next few months.
