Scarborough Athletic Beaten By Bucks

Boro suffered a jarring home defeat, to promotion-chasing Buxton, after a strong recent run, on Saturday.

Jono Greening's men were well beaten by the Bucks in the penultimate home clash of the season for the Boro.

The 3-0 scoreline was surprising given the Seadogs' strong start.

Alex Brown hit the crossbar, with Stephen Walker and Sam Reed coming close early on.

The Derbyshire outfit took the lead after tapping in a deep free-kick, ten minutes before half-time.

The play-off chasing visitors then hit the Boro with two goals in four minutes just after the hour.

Greening gave SAFC TV his verdict after the final whistle:
