The NHS on the Yorkshire Coast remains under great pressure according to Scarborough and Whitby's MP
Sir Robert Goodwill hopes the upgrade project at Scarborough hospital will go some way to help alleviate the pressure but says there are other issues which also need addressing.
Sir Robert thinks the The multimillion-pound redevelopment of Scarborough Hospital will be good not just for patients but also for attracting new staff.
The MP is hopeful the new facilities can help with the areas long term staffing problem in the NHS.
