A Scarborough man is helping to bring some festive cheer to local children today with the aid of a Santa suit and a tractor.
Dan Marshall will be travelling along the A64 later on his way to visit children in the town who can't get out to Santa's grotto themselves.
Dan says the 1950's festive tractor is quite a sight.
The unusual load will be seen on the A64 later as Dan drives from Slingsby to Scarborough while wearing the Santa suit.
Dan says the tractor should be easy to spot.
It's the second year that Dan has donned his Santa suit and taken to the road with his tractor. He has been appealing on social media for people with children who can;'t get out to a grotto to get in touch so that he can pay them a visit at home.
Dan says he was inspired to take on the task after losing his own son ten years ago.
Dan will be visiting Cherry Tree Lodge Respite Care Centre later but will also be visiting a number of local families who have made contact with him.
Scarborough mum, Kelly, says her children are lookign forward to Dan's visit later today.
