The reworked event in December has raised much needed cash for patient care.
The team at Saint Catherine's have announce that Santa Dash 2020 raised over £11,000 for patient care.
They had to do things a bit differently this year as they couldn't put on a big, group event. Instead hundred of socially distanced Santa's took to the the streets before lockdown to undertake their own Santa Dash.
Susan Stephenson, communications and marketing manager said:
"The response we have had from all of our supporters over the past year has been unbelievable. As we couldn't put on a big, group event we couldn't be sure of the turnout, but everyone was as supportive as always and we cannot thank you all enough."
Thank you to each and every one of you who signed up, raised money and donated, none of this is possible without you!
And we'd like to say thank you to This Is The Coast for their weekend takeover, interviewing participants as they completed their dashes and even got involved themselves!"
As with many organisations the pandemic has meant Saint Catherine's have been unable to carry out much of their normal fundraising work over the last nine months.
The team say
"Your ongoing support is truly appreciated by everyone at Saint Catherine's, to find out more about how you can help, please visit https://www.saintcatherines.org.uk/How-you-can-help-us/"
