Flamborough RNLI are this year celebrating 150 years of service and the Chief Exec dropped in for some cake.
In November 1871 two lifeboat stations were established at Flamborough.
Station 1 at North Landing and Station 2 at South Landing.
Today Flamborough is served by Atlantic 85, B-820, Elizabeth Jane Palmer, which operates from South Landing.
As part of the celebratory events taking place to mark the anniversary, the station received a visit this week from RNLI Chief Executive Officer Mark Dowie.
Mr Dowie spent the morning chatting with crew and other volunteers and was given the honour of cutting the stations 150th Anniversary Cake.
