Over 45,000 children have enjoyed free cricket coaching from the English Cricket Board, including schools in North Yorkshire.
The YCB's John Green said:
"[We've had] record numbers for the All Stars and Dynamo cricket- over 45,000 in two weeks on both projects nationwide.
"The World Cup legacy, we have started work on in primary schools and we'll be coaching over 400 kids [locally]."
The following local youngsters have being selected for North Yorkshire in regional cricket:
Under 9- Henry Stabler (Mulgrave CC)
Under 10- Harrison Zacereski (Scarborough CC)
Under 12- Sam Hodgson, Evan Chapman (Folkton & Flixton CC)
Ben Crick (Scarborough CC)
Under 15- Toby Jones (Cayton CC)
