76 new officers will be added to the force this year with a large number of them having just started their training.
Sixty new Police officers are now undergoing training in North Yorkshire as part of a scheme to increase the number of officers on the street.
Assistant Chief Constable, Mark Pannone, says it's the final phase of a three year drive to increase staffing levels.
