Speculation about how schools might enable pupils to catch up on lost learning is just that according to North Yorkshire County Council.
There were suggestions last week that the school day might be extended after lockdown or that the Summer holiday might be shortened.
Rebekah Taylor is the council's Principal Education Adviser. Rebekah says there isn't yet a clear picture as to what the plan is.
Rebekah says no guidance from government has yet been received, but adds that there are already some programmes in place to help children who are falling behind.
