More than 100 properties in the centre of Scarborough have been hit by a power cut.
Northern Powergrid say the fault was reported just before ten on Saturday morning and they were working hard to have it resolved by early afternoon.
They say it was caused by an unexpected problem with cables or equipment. The issues are in the YO11 part of town, with the South Bay area reported to be affected.
