The county's seven day average infection rate falls below 100 while the Scarborough Borough's stands at 60.
The Scarborough Borough's COVID infection rate has fallen further today, the seven day average now stands at 60 cases per 100 thousand people. The lowest it's been since September.
The North Yorkshire Average is now below 100 for the first time since December 8th.
Public Health Consultant, Dr Victoria Turner says it's a result of everyone's efforts to follow the lockdown rules,

Richard Webb is the County Council's director of Health and Adult Services, he says there is still more work that needs to be done and that we need to keep sticking to lockdown rules.
In the Scarborough Borough the areas with the highest infection rates in the last seven days are the Whitby South and East area along with Falsgrave, South Cliff, and Filey & Hunmanby.
