'There's only one way it ends.' say Scarborough police as they arrest a man they've been trying to locate for several weeks.
North Yorkshire Police has been appealing for information about Joshua James Richardson, from near Broxa, Scarborough.
He’s been wanted for several weeks in connection with a domestic violence case.
Officers say:
"We’ve been searching the Scarborough area for the 23-year-old and our perseverance has now paid off – he’s been arrested and taken into custody."
Superintendent Rachel Wood, commander for Scarborough, thanked the public who have shared information during the search and said:
“Time and time again, people who are wanted by police think they can give us the slip.
“And time and time again, we prove them wrong.
“The matter doesn’t simply disappear if you refuse to hand yourself in, we’ll keep searching for as long as it takes.
“As this case shows, there’s only one way it ends… and it involves a custody cell.”
Richardson was arrested in the Scarborough area.
