North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses after an older female was the victim of an unprovoked assault on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
The incident occurred around 4 PM on Falsgrave Road, near the Spar Shop, when the victim was punched by a stranger.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any serious injuries from the attack. Authorities are currently conducting ongoing CCTV enquiries to gather more information about the incident.
In a statement, police have urged anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the assault to come forward. They specifically seek individuals who may have witnessed the event or possess dashcam footage that could assist in the investigation.
