Returning star Omar Sanyang was the hero as Pickering Town made it three matches unbeaten.
Sanyang netted a penalty at Tadcaster midweek.
He struck a minute before half-time with the only goal against Thackley, on Saturday.
The win takes Tony Hackworth's men up to 11th in Northern Counties East Premier.
They host Albion Sports, another Bradford side, on Saturday.
