The Pikes were in control of their trip to Marske United, before a late show from the North East side.
Dom Weston put Tony Hackworth's men on 24 minutes.
It looked like Marske would go in level at half-time when they evened things up a minute before the break.
However, within seconds, Max Bauer put Pickering back in front at 2-1.
Weston netted again, six minutes into the second half for 3-1.
Marske made it 3-2 just before the hour and equalised again on 64 minutes.
The Northern League First Division side then notched twice more in the last 13 minutes to secure a 5-3 victory.
