Pickering Town Crash Out As Nightmare Start Continues

Pikes are out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle this time around.

After a bright run which saw them featured on the BBC, last season, Pickering Town are out of the FA Cup already, this time.

It follows three defeats on the spin in the Northern Counties East Premier.

Pikes fell behind in the opening stages, at Northern League First Division Crook Town.

They held out until the second half, where they were rolled over 4-0.

Simon Heslop's men will look for their first league points, on Tuesday, when they visit Doncaster side Rossington Main, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
