The number of murders in North Yorkshire has doubled in the last year.
The county's deputy Chief Constable - Mabs Hussain - says the increase is significant and Police are working with a number of partners to tackle the issues.
Robbery and Violent Crime in North Yorkshire has increased over the last year.
Figures from North Yorkshire Police show incidents were particularly high over the summer with robbery also jumping up in October.
