Health bosses say Just under 65% of the county's adult population have been vaccinated compared with 53% across England.
Amanda Bloor from the NHS says the numbers are encouraging.
482,000 people in North Yorkshire have received a COVID jab, but despite that success there are still around 31 thousand people eligible for a vaccination who have yet to come forward.
