Scarborough and Whitby's MP has praised the response of North Yorkshire County Council to the COVID crisis.
Robert Goodwill says they've done a first rate job liaising with other agencies involved in the response.
He also says he now thinks the county authority should have been given responsibility for track and trace, a point he's made to the Health Secretary.
Mr Goodwill says the county council have lead a first rate response, and he says there are lessons to be learned nationally from North Yorkshire's response.
