NHS North Yorkshire CCG have said they are coping due to plans in place for the winter surge in patients.
The NHS is under enourmous strain as the COVID pandemic and the cold weather add to the pressure in what is usually the health services busiest time of the year.
In North Yorkshire NHS managers say they have well rehearsed plans for dealing with surges in demand for hospital services.
Amanda Bloor from the county's Clinical Commisioning Group says at the moment they are coping.
She did say the numbers are increasing though:
