The Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team has issued a public notice regarding a multi-agency training exercise involving multiple casualty scenarios taking place along the coast at Sewerby today.

The Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team has released a public notice regarding a multi-agency exercise, which is situated along the coastline at Sewerby.
The planned operation commenced at 9:00 am and is structured around multiple casualty scenarios.
According to the coastguard, the primary objective of the drill is to rigorously test emergency response procedures, ensuring that all participating agencies are fully prepared to handle real-life incidents.
The exercise features a collaborative effort between the Coastguard, the RNLI, and various other emergency response teams.
Due to the scale of the training, the public has been advised to expect a heightened visible presence of emergency personnel in the vicinity of Sewerby. This includes an increased deployment of emergency vehicles and lifeboats operating in the area.
Officials have stressed that the activity is purely for training purposes and that there is no cause for public alarm.
A spokesperson for the Bridlington Coastguard Rescue Team said:
"Please be aware that from 9:00am today, a multi-agency exercise involving multiple casualty scenarios will be taking place along the coast at Sewerby.
This training exercise will involve the Coastguard, RNLI, and other emergency response teams, and members of the public may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles, lifeboats, and personnel in the area.
There is no cause for concern, this is only an exercise designed to test emergency response procedures and ensure agencies are prepared for real incidents.
