There are concerns over public transport links to a new community diagnostic centre being built in Eastfield.
The local NHS trust has opened two CDC "spokes" at Askham Bar in York and Selby War Memorial Hospital, with the main CDC in Eastfield nearly complete.
The CDCs offer a wide range of diagnostics, including MRI and CT scans, ultrasound, spirometry, lung function tests, and more.
GP practices can refer patients to the CDCs directly, or as part of a pathway.
CDCs aim to increase capacity in diagnostic services, improve productivity and efficiency, and reduce health inequalities.
