Delays of up to 2 hours are being reported on the section near Malton
Drivers have been reporting long delays on the A64 around Malton today.
A programme of repair work has been taking place on the road for a number of weeks as safety barriers are replaced.
However, National Highways report that the delays are due to works by Yorkshire Water.

Coastliner say the delays have had an impact on their services
⚠️ Hi Folks, due to heavy traffic on the A64 we will be unable to serve all stops between Welburn & Malton, buses to divert via Coneysthorpe.
