Loan Extensions for Bridlington Town Players

Bridlington Town have announced the extension of the loan deals for Sebastian Malkowski and Ahmed Salam from Worksop Town and Alfreton Town, respectively.

Malkowski, who has made 17 appearances for the Seasiders, will now be with the club until the end of the season, with his deal expiring on 26th April.

Salam joined the club on an initial month’s loan last month, and despite only making three appearances due to the disrupted schedule, has impressed. His loan has been extended by a further 28 days, until 8th February.

Manager Mike Thompson commented:

“My first real piece of business was to make sure we had a conversation about the future of Seb. He’s a real leader in the changing room and someone I was wanting to tie down as best as possible.

After good conversations with both Seb and Craig Parry (Worksop Town manager) we have managed to do just that.

“In the same breath, Ahmed is another that has really shown his qualities in a short period of time and I think that was epitomised on Tuesday night in my first game in charge. We are lucky and happy to have Ahmed and want to give him the platform to play.

“There are more conversations going on this week with our other loan signing Charlie Winfield as well as two potential signings into the football club so watch this space for future transfer news.”
