There is a FULL CLOSURE of Lindhead School in Burniston this morning, following hours of heavy rain.
Headteacher Simon England has contacted This Is The Coast to confirm the whole school needs to remain closed today due to water flooding through parts of the school buildings this morning.
Also, callers have reported flooding on roads in the area including Seamer Road and Queen Margaret's Road in Scarborough.
The Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather Warning for RAIN for the whole Yorkshire Coast which could see up to 100mm fall on the North York Moors today.
