Fire officers were called to reports of a fire at a hunting cabin, in Ugthorpe, around 10 miles west of Whitby, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The call came around 12.40am.
Fire crews from Whitby and Danby responded to reports of a fire in an area measuring six metres by four metres.
This was extinguished by officers using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
