The RAF Typhoon Display Team have had to pull out of their planned air display in Scarborough tomorrow.
Organisers of Scarborough's armed forces day event say they were informed on Friday afternoon that the Typhoon would not be able to make an appearance at Saturday's event.
In a post on social media the organisers said:
"This afternoon we have been informed by the RAF Typhoon Display Team, that due to circumstances beyond their control, they are unable to Display at Scarborough on Armed Forces Day.
This does not just affect the display here in Scarborough.
We do not have any further information currently to give you at this time.
We are pleased that the Typhoon Display PR Team will still be present on the ground supporting Armed Forces Day and giving an insight into the Typhoon, the display and RAF Careers opportunities. "

"We are thankful to Gyro Air Displays for stepping into the display slot the Typhoon leaves at short notice.
It may not be quite as loud but is very dynamic and entertaining display."
The Gyro Air Display team will be flying at 12pm.

Tiger Moths with be in the skies over South Bay at 1pm, the Starlings Aerobatic team will be flying at 2pm and the Jet Powered Pitts Display Team will be in the air at 3pm.
