The Government’s latest rolling figures, updated on Wednesday, show the case rate per 100,000 people across the region was 59.4 in the East Riding in the seven days up to Friday, May 27.
A total of 57,614 new coronavirus cases were recorded nationally in the week up to today, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 22,238,713, with 614 new deaths recorded, making a total of 177,977.
The East Riding’s rate of cases per 100,000 people dropped from 100.2 during the week.

Government data up to Wednesday, May 25 shows that in the UK, 143,062,369 jabs have been given so far, 53,445,102 first doses, 49,938,085 second doses and 39,679,182 boosters.
