A section of the the A64 will be closed from 8pm on Friday.
Both the eastbound and westbound carriageways will be closed between Brambling Fields to East Heslerton.
The road will be closed from 8pm on Friday October 9th until 6am on Monday October 12th.
The carriageway closures are to enable carriageway improvement works to be carried out.
Highways England say a diversion route will be in place.
