Officers in Scarborough were called out twice in 40 minutes to separate incidents in the town on Friday.
Around 3.40pm, fire officers were called to Castle Road in Scarborough, they responded to reports of a female stuck on unstable ground. Crews used a rope pack to rescue the female and a male from the unstable ground.
Then less than 40 minutes later, they responded to calls for an incident on Colescliffe Road in the town. Crews found this to be a domestic kitchen fire. They used one hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventillation fan.
