Flares set off at recent Scarborough Athletic games have caused thousands of pounds of damage to the Flamingo Land Stadium.
The Damage at the Stadium is costing Scarborough Athletic hard eared cash.
Club Chairman Trevor Bull says flares set off during recent games have meant expensive repairs to seating and the pitch.
He told Scarborough Athletic TV it also damages the clubs reputation.
Trevor Bull says the damage is disappointing, he says that
"as a ‘fan owned’ club, our aim is to provide affordable and sustainable football, whilst striving to play at the highest level possible. Everything we do goes towards this aim, we have no debt and only ever spend what we have. Following our promotion to the National League North, we know that the costs involved in running our football club will be considerably higher than in the Northern Premier League."
Trevor says the damage is costing the club hard earned cash.
