Whitby Town's new manager will take charge of his first league game today as Town travel to Morpeth.
Gary Liddle took over this week following the departure of Nathan Haslam.
Liddle says it's a reset for the dressing room.
Liddle says the clubs away form is strong, which works well for him going into his first match as manager.
Liddle was player-coach under Haslam so knows the club and the players, having joined Whitby on two year contract in May 2023. He is a centre back and midfielder but says he will now step back from playing roles.
Morpeth are one place and one point ahead of Whitby in the league table. Town are just one point outside the relegation zone.
