Filey's new £362,000 Skate Park will be officially opened on Saturday.
The new fully accessible outdoor facility has been built on the western side of West Avenue, between the car park and the multi-use games area.
Filey Regeneration Officer, Zoe Kelsall, says creating the new skatepark has been a real community effort.
The skatepark is intended to cater for skateboards, BMX, scooters and wheelchair motocross.
North Yorkshire Council's regeneration officer for the town - Zoe Kelsall - says it's be designed to cater for a range of users.
Zoe says the Skate Park has been designed to be a facility for people of all ages and abilities.

The project has been several years in the making and has involved many different community groups working together. Zoe Kelsall says there has been strong public support for the project.
Saturday's opening event will take place from 12noon to 4pm and will feature skateboard lessons for beginners, competitions, music and food. This is the Coast will be broadcasting live from the event between 12pm and 2pm.
