Officials in Filey are planning to speak to the first mayor of York & North Yorkshire.
Filey councillor Sam Cross is hoping the newly elected Mayor of York and North Yorkshire will visit the town soon:
David Skaith was elected to the role last week.
Councillor Cross wants to make sure the town doesn't miss out on any Mayoral funding:
