One of the biggest events in Filey's calendar takes place on Saturday evening.
Filey's favourite festive occasion comes to Coble Landing on Saturday from 5pm.
The town's fishtive tree will be lit at a community event, with live music, food and fireworks.
Here's The Filey Tourism and Trading Association's Andrew Jenkins:
"It's been going now for nine years. This is the ninth anniversary. And it's made up of crab pots and lights and all sorts of things that would normally be used out at sea. But this time turned into a Christmas tree. There'll be a raffle and things like that going on down there.
"Lots of children have been involved this year as well, creating pictures to go with the tree as well. Yeah, it should be great fun."
The Filey Fishtive Tree Switch On takes place the first Saturday in December. With a live DJ, lots of delicious food and fireworks at 7pm, come along to see the Filey Fishtive tree lights switched on and be immersed in the festivities.
It's been a tradition in Filey since 2017 and raises funds for local community groups.
Andrew says the festival signifies the start of Christmas for many:
" It's one where the community all gets together and can get behind something like this and I would strongly urge people to help support the the fundraising that goes on that evening as well to help keep it going for the future. The lights are already up in Filey and they look really stunning this year.
"All credit to Filey Town Council for what they've done with those this year. Getting that all set up. And this is a sort of, if you like, the cherry on the cake of Filey down on the Coble Landing. It looks stunning when we do it every year and I've no doubt it'll look as brilliant again this year when it's all lit up."
The tree will be on Coble Landing until the New Year and is well worth a visit.
