Filey town Council is looking for a new provider of Christmas Lights.
Deputy Mayor - councillor Linda Randall says the council has ended it's contract with it's existing provider after being disappointed with last year's festive display.
The display in Filey has suffered technical problems for the last few years.
In August, the town council voted to enter into a three year deal with a new supplier to install a new electrical system and Christmas lights display.
Major improvements were implemented in October to improve the electrical supply infrastructure for the Christmas Lighting, but Deputy Mayor - Councillor Linda Randall says the council has now ended it's contract with the new provider after the lights worked for just one out of the eight planned weeks.
