FA Cup Replay for Scarborough Athletic

Scarborough Athletic came within 60 seconds of the second round of the Emirates FA cup on Saturday.

Scarborough Athletic face an FA Cup replay after a dramatic end to Saturday's first round game against Forest Green Rovers.

Boro took the lead in the first half through Alex Wiles:

Scarborough held on to that lead until the last minute of the game when a Forest Green equaliser left the Flamingo Land Stadium silent.

Speaking live on This is the Coast shortly after the final whistle, Boro chairman Trevor Bull gave us his reaction.

Injured midfielder - Finlay Barnes - was watching from the stand.

Trevor Bull said he was pleased with the performance, despite the late equaliser.

The replay will be played at Forest Green Rovers a week on Tuesday (November 14th), winning the game would net Boro £41,000 in prize money and a place in the second round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The draw for the second round takes place at 2:30pm on Sunday and will be live on ITV1, Scarborough will be ball number 30. Prize money in the second round is £67,000.

After the match Boro Manager, Jono Greening, spoke to Scarborough Athletic TV's Illan McGuinness

Boro return to National North action on Tuesday night.

The Seadogs host Chorley at The Flamingo Land Stadium with a 7.45pm kick-off.
