Emergency Services Weekend in Whitby

The Whitby RNLI branch will be on hand again all day at the town's bandstand as part of Emergency Services Weekend.

The RNLI will be in town until 4pm on Sunday to meet members of the public.

It's part of a big two days for the Whitby Lifeboat as one of their volunteers, Neil, appears on tonight's Countryfile on BBC One at 7pm.

The group are then taking part in the Armed Forces Week flag raising on Monday, with the ceremony starting at 10.15am, it's preceded by a parade from 9.30am, at Dock End, in Whitby.
