East Riding Council says it is working with local landlords to improve the energy efficiency of rented homes in the county
A scheme to improve the standard of rented accommodation in East Yorkshire has seen landlords attend a workshop organised by the East Riding Council.
Council Communities Director Paul Bellotti says the idea is help landlords achieve the latest standards in energy efficiency and Health and Safety.

The workshop was also aimed at helping landlords comply with health and safety requirements, Paul Bellotti says the council has been taking action against landlords whose properties don't meet the standards.
