The last day of the rugby season saw Scarborough and Bridlington locked in a relegation battle in North East 2.
Boro had asked for increased support at Silver Royd and it worked as they edged out Dronfield 26-17 after nine wins in a row:
Unfortunately, a 69-10 thumping at league champions Selby meant relegation for Bridlington.
Whitby have also been relegated after finishing second from bottom in Durham & Northumberland Division Two.
Driffield finished fourth in North East 1 after losing 45-27 at Harrogate.
Hornsea ended up second in Yorkshire 4 South.
