Scarborough and Driffield were both beaten in Yorkshire Premier North on Saturday.
Boro batted first after winning the toss at Sheriff Hutton Bridge but slipped to 33/2, however Matthew Turnbull (69) and Gihan Maligaspe Koralage (64) then put on 117 for the third wicket. When they were dismissed, though, the visitors quickly slipped from 173/4 to 192/9 off their 50 overs.
Bridge put on 75 for their first wicket and got home in the 46th over, with four wickets in hand. Clarke Doughney took 2/40 and there were also wickets for Jack Redshaw, Gregor Fraser and Koralage.
Driffield Town must have thought they had a great chance of a first win of the season when they skittled Castleford for 147- James Anson and Methushan Thilina took three wickets each.
However, the away side then slumped to just 48 all out, losing by 99 runs in the 21st over with only Anson, at number ten, making double figures.
Folkton & Flixton continued their strong start in YPN Championship East with a 44-run home win.
Visitors Sutton-on-Hull put the villagers in and quickly reduced them to 35/2. Elliot Hatton was the main catalyst for the fightback as he slammed 84 from 88 balls. Calum Hatton and wicket-keeper Marley Ward then saw their side to a competitive 225/7 from their 50 overs.
And so it proved as Elliot Hatton then turned hero with the ball with a superb 5/22 from 13 overs- Callum Hatton took two wickets as the away side were limited to just 181/8 from their overs, falling 44 runs short.
Bridlington saw their match in the same division, against Dunnington, postponed due to rain.
There was frustration for Filey, in Division One East, as they lost a thriller at Clarence Drive.
Choosing to field first, the hosts quickly reduced Beverley Seconds to 39/3. They then bowled the visitors out in the penultimate over for 189. Tom Watson took 4/25 with two wickets each for Muhammad Hussnain Khalid and Josh Dawson.
Plenty of Filey batsmen got starts with seven making 17 or more, but no-one reaching 26. At 157/5 they were set for a big finish but it came down to the last over with Beverley holding their nerve to win by three runs as Filey finished on 186/7.
Pickering won their derby at Scarborough Seconds by 30 runs. Ryan Taylor top scored, with 37, in Pickering's 121 all out from 33 overs, Charlie Hopper took 4/27 and Tom Bussey 3/11 for Boro's second string. Boro then collapse to 91 all out, in reply, in the 37th over. Kieran Bowes took 5/29, Kieran Boyes 3/14 and Max Harland 2/31 for Pickering.
In North Yorkshire South Durham Division One, Whitby were bowled out for just 68 with Tom Steyert (28) the only batsman to reach double figures. Steyert then took the only wicket as hosts Billingham Synthonia romped to their target in just ten overs.
